Jason is a senior rail and transport operations leader with over 35 years' experience delivering large-scale operational transformation, network performance improvement, and organisational change across the UK, the Middle East, and Australia. He combines frontline operational credibility with board-level leadership, having held executive accountability for some of the busiest and most complex railway networks in the world.
Jason has held senior roles at Network Rail, Sydney Trains, and NEOM, leading major programmes spanning operations, engineering, safety, and customer experience. As Chief Operating Officer of Network Rail Infrastructure, he led maintenance and operations across London Waterloo's network, delivering measurable improvements in safety, reliability, and service capacity. He went on to lead the joint transformation of Network Rail Infrastructure and South Western Railway as Industry Programme Director, strengthening governance and regulatory relationships across the business. In Australia, he led Sydney Trains' Network Operations function, and most recently, as Rail Operations Lead for NEOM, he has shaped the operating model and cross-modal integration for a landmark sustainable mobility programme, improving efficiency across both design and operations.
