

Richard is an adaptable senior operations and customer experience professional with over 25 years’ international Transport experience. He has broad expertise and is a respected Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all areas of Customer Experience.
Whilst an experienced transport strategist, he is equally adept at delivering complex programmes and projects within tight timescales. This experience includes developing and delivering complex performance incentive regimes, leadership development and staff engagement strategies, operational line management, stakeholder management, fraud mitigation, project management and the health, safety and security of customers and staff in the Transport industry. This experience has led to Richard being a highly skilled facilitator, negotiator, and communicator at all levels. He has led organisation wide union negotiations on pay, disputes and contractual changes.
Richard is a high energy, driven leader who thrives in an environment that enables him to get the very best from people. He invests time in both individuals and the greater team to maximise development opportunities and optimise both personal and professional growth.
He has a wealth of knowledge of EFQM and bidding principles through franchise bid management, plan writing, internal and external bid plan evaluation, and mobilisation.
As well as professionally, he utilises this experience to support a mental health charity (BATH MIND) in their fund-raising activities.
